We welcomed a special royal guest to The Royal London Hospital to celebrate International Nurses Day. 

Two new wards – a 14-bedded intensive care unit (ICU) and a 26-bedded respiratory ward – have opened at Newham Hospital.

My name is Hasmita Patel, I was born profoundly Deaf in both ears , and I use British Sign Language (BSL) but most ly with Sign Supported English (SSE).  

An artificial intelligence tool trained to read clinical letters has prevented a number of patients from missing out on key appointments.
