The new wellbeing hub at Newham Hospital is now open! 

We spoke to members of the team Staff Sergeant Steve Whyte, Craftsman Jordan Neville and Lance Corporal Lauren Webster about their time working in here as they bid farewell to Newham Hospital.

In January, we welcomed colleagues from the army to our hospital. They provided support – known as military aid to the civil authorities (MACA) – to our hospital to help us manage winter pressures and the fourth wave of Covid-19.  

This week, we welcome Tom Ellis as the new director of strategy at Newham Hospital. We caught up with Tom to find out a bit about him and what he’s looking forward to most about his new role.
